At Asian Public School, we believe that science is best learned through exploration, experimentation, and observation. Our Composite Science Laboratory is designed to nurture curiosity and develop scientific skills in students from Class I to Class X, all under one roof.

Early Science Exposure (Classes I to V)

For our young learners in primary classes, the lab becomes a space of wonder. Through guided demonstrations, simple experiments, and hands-on activities, children:

Observe natural phenomena

Learn to classify objects and materials

Explore basic physical changes and properties

Understand the five senses, parts of plants, water cycle, etc.

Activity-based learning is emphasized using safe, child-friendly models and materials.

Experimental Learning (Classes VI to VIII)

As students enter middle school, they begin structured science practicals across:

Biology – Observing plant parts, preparing temporary slides, seed germination

Chemistry – Testing solubility, mixing substances, observing chemical changes

Physics – Understanding forces, magnets, measurement, light reflection

The lab is equipped with age-appropriate apparatus, charts, and basic tools to support NCERT-based practical learning.

Hands-On Science (Classes IX & X)

Senior students engage in curriculum-aligned CBSE practicals that include:

Microscopic studies of plant and animal cells

Preparation and testing of chemical reactions

Understanding laws of motion, electricity, and optics

They maintain lab journals and perform experiments independently or in small groups under expert supervision.

Fire extinguisher, sand bucket, and first aid kit
